St. Elizabeth Motherhouse, Allegany, New York, is home of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany. The original building that housed the sisters was completed in 1907. In 1958, the Allegany Franciscans moved into their new, and current, Motherhouse.

Immaculate Conception Convent
Kingston, Jamaica
Immaculate Conception Convent in Kingston, Jamaica, was once the Constant Spring Hotel, one of the island’s first resorts. The government took ownership of the building when the original owners went bankrupt during the Great Depression. In the 1940s, the government sold the property to the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, where they housed the convent, a primary school and a high school.

Mozambique, Africa
The Convent of St. Francis of Assisi is the home of the Brazilian sisters doing mission work in Zambezia, Mozambique, Africa. The sisters have served as nurses, and they currently provide religious education to the community.
Hermanas Franciscanas
La Paz, Bolivia
Two sisters live and serve in La Paz, Bolivia. The sisters minister to families in the community of El Pedregal, helping them to access adequate nutrition, medical care, and education.
