Douglas Steere once said, “To listen another’s soul into a condition of disclosure and discovery may be almost the greatest service that any human being ever performs for another.” This was the effort made among the discerners during their Discernment Retreat in Tampa, March 6 – 8.

This letter describes the goals and related elements of this discernment process in order to prepare everyone in supporting these sisters whom you have been invited so that, together, we can work toward the success of this important next step.

The Invitation Packet is designed to assist you in a step-by-step approach to the process of submitting the names of sisters whom you are considering for the Leadership Discernment Process.

Materials were provided in preparation for the upcoming Regional Assembly, January 10 and 11, 2025.
